KARIN SAMII-SHORE Karin Samii-Shore is the owner and founder of Shore Research, Inc.. She brings twelve years of experience in research and evaluation in the areas of education, communication, facilitation, technology integration, and child development. Her work often focuses on the assessing the impact of training and support on learning and examining the factors that facilitate successful program implementation. Ms. Samii-Shore's other areas of expertise include evaluation capacity building, facilitation of group communication, and program modeling to improve planning, decision-making, and implementation. Before founding Shore Research, Inc., Ms. Samii-Shore attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Masters Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. Karin has worked for the Texas Associated School Boards and Austin Independent School District where she designed and implemented evaluations for local, state, and federal grants. Karin's current projects include: the Completing the Vision Project, a small learning communities grant to the Austin Independent School District, the Tri-County Technology Integration Project which provides training and technology to help improve students' writing skills, and the No Kidding and Youth Partnership for Change Programs which empower teens to get involved in their communities. Karin lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, son, two cats, and dog. She enjoys reading, running, and working in her garden.
